CAN WE ESTIMATE HOW MANY HEMATOLOGY TESTS ARE CONDUCTED BASED ON OUR INTERNAL SHIPMENT DATA?
Upon receiving a detailed introduction to both the business and the technological sides of Sysmex core business, hematology, I was presented with a challenge to solve: how to estimate how many tests are conducted based on our internal data about shipments of hematology reagents.
I proposed a methodology based on each instrument’s unique recipe of reagents. In order to develop it, I gained a detailed understanding about the different types of reagents, their dosage and frequency of use.
My colleagues from the Global Support department valued the solution for its clarity, the easy-to-use excel sheets with formulas as well as the applicability in different sales regions.
